We ask all fishermen to please observe these few simple and sensible rules to help protect our fish, fishery and the enjoyment of all anglers.
- Barbless hook only
- No keep nets except for pre approved and organised matches
- Landing nets must be used at all times
- Fish must be held no more than 30cm / 12 inches above the ground for photographs
- You may only fish from the designated stoned areas
- Under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult at all times
- All anglers must be in possession of a current EA rod licence
- Only one rod per person to be used (2 winter months)
- Landing nets must be dipped prior to fishing
- Anglers must have, and use, a disgorger or forceps
- Boiles should not be used as groundbait. Hook bait only.
- Pellets of the low-oil, coarse variety to be used as loose feed
- We strongly encourage fishermen to use Landing Mats
- Please do not leave any litter whatsoever – bins are provided
- All persons using the fishery do so at their own risk
- Cars parked are done so at their owners own risk
